Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made many changes to reduce the risk of infection and would be grateful for your cooperation regarding the following:

  1.  All patients will have to undergo the following screening questionnaire before booking an appointment.  Do not book an appointment online if you answer 'yes' to any of the following questions:

    1. Do you currently have COVID-19?

    2. Have you been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

    3. Do you have any flu-like symptoms such as a cough or temperature?

    4. Have you received a letter advising you are extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 or advised that you should be shielding?

  2. If you are in an 'at risk' group, such as those over 70 years of age, or with a chronic health condition, please consider carefully whether attending the clinic and the associated risk of exposure to COVID-19 is worth it.

  3. Please come to your appointment alone.  If you require a chaperone, they will have to undergo a screening procedure on arrival.

  4. Please use the bathroom before attending to reduce the chances of having to use the public toilet on the premises.

  5. Please wear a face mask or face covering to the appointment if you have one.

  6. On arrival, please wait in your car or outside the building away from the entrance until two minutes before your appointment.  This is to allow other visitors to leave without the need for social contact.

  7. No sooner than two minutes before your appointment time, please enter the building by the 4th door along signposted City Osteopaths and have a seat on the sofa.

  8. When your osteopath comes out, please remain seated for a further screening check, including a contactless temperature check.  If it is suspected that you may be at risk of having COVID-19, your appointment will not be able to continue.
